Algae are now considered a World Commodity, as the industry approaches the billion-dollar mark by 2010. As a marketing oriented company, NSA principals Bulk General Manager have observed market demand changes and trends for over 25 years with the movement of over 100 tons of bulk algae and packaged goods. The main target markets have been identified and strategies are continually being formulated, along with product, price, promotions, place and people strategies in the various market segments.

These markets include the global bulk market with sales to importers, exporters, brokers, wholesalers, supplement contract manufacturers, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical companies, and animal feed outlets. Direct marketing of packaged brand names as well as private label include wholesale and retail sales directly to consumers, independent distributors, health & fitness centers, retail health food outlets, city, state, federal agencies, health practitioners and clinics. Promotions and advertising are accomplished through direct response media via radio, internet, newspaper, magazine ads, cable TV, seminars, conventions, conferences, Pow Wows and trade shows. Direct sales and customer service is being handled through the Northern Arapahoe Call Center along with a very assertive in-house telemarketing team being developed for general markets.

The demographic target markets include people of all genders including youth and adults of all ages. These demographics are based on the need to gain more energy, better nutrition, control appetite, and protect the human immune system as well as to address specific health concerns. This includes women, men, youth, seniors, weight watchers, athletes and those who suffer from chronic disorders. The psycho graphic markets include people and companies that use or market Green Foods, functional Foods, Nutraceuticals, Specialty Supplements, Probiotics, Botanicals, Organic, Kosher, and Halal Certified products.
